Misson

The world is full of sensible; I’m here to evoke a bit of infectious energy, lateral thinking, and looking at things from unusual angles to help you find purpose and voice (and the subtle magic that makes things sparkle).

I'm a freelance graphic designer based near Oxford, specialising in design for print and illustration, both digital and freehand.

With over 20 years experience working alongside some highly talented and creative people in agencies and by forging my own client base as a freelancer, I have developed a diverse skill set that is constantly evolving. I pride myself on developing solid working relationships and by creating beautiful artwork designed to influence and inspire.

I have worked extensively in publishing, designing book covers, page layout and magazines, as well as art direction, project management and providing illustrations. I work for clients in many and varied industries, such as academia, public sector, health and beauty, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, motorsport and equine.

Whether designing a logo, branding, stationery, brochures, catalogues, marketing material, advertising… in fact, all things printed… I believe in delivering quality work, on time and within budget.

Nicki has a wonderful eye for design and provides a consistently professional level of service across a wide range of projects from the design and supply of all print and digital brand ad copy to managing the design and print of point of sale materials, product brochures and branded merchandise. She is an invaluable extension of the UK brand team and is super easy to work with.

Branding

Whether you want to breathe new life into an existing brand or create a new one, getting a comprehensive understanding of you, your business and audience is key to getting it right.

Publishing

I love print, books, paper and the tactile nature of stuff. I have a healthy obsession to create beautifully designed publications... and finding ways to make them work equally as well in a digital world.

Design

Looking good speaks volumes and the importance of creativity shouldn't be underestimated.
By working with you, your ideas are effectively developed into elegant and inspiring designs.

Maps

Maps are functional, informative, beautiful, fascinating... I can study them for hours.

Illustration

Digital or freehand; pencil or paint; illustration is both a pleasure and a really handy skill when you can't think of what to buy someone for a present!
If I can call it 'work' too, that's a bonus!

Passion

Making the world a more beautiful place by creating compelling design. If you can imagine it,
I can design it… so there’s plenty of scope there.
